Royal Caribbean strikes an exclusive partnership with Ponting Wines, cofounded by Aussie cricket legend Ricky Ponting kicking off this month with a curated list of the label’s premium wines.
From October 2023 to April 2024, wine lovers can raise a glass of handpicked rosé, red or white wine on 2- to -18-night getaways from Brisbane and Sydney this summer.
In 2019, award-winning Australian winemaker Ben Riggs the renowned former Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting and his wife Rianna launched Ponting Wines. The cofounders carefully created each wine to deliver high quality in flavour, structure and complexity.
On board Ovation, Quantum and Brilliance of the Seas, holidaymakers can enjoy six of Ponting’s award-winning wines, including Ponting First Session Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc and Ponting Mowbray Boy Tasmanian Pinot Noir.
The collection will be available by the bottle and the glass across all restaurants and bars, from Jamie’s Italian to Royal Caribbean’s signature steakhouse, Chops Grille, and the Vintages wine bar. Plus, the wines will be featured as part of the Deluxe Beverage Package for travellers who want to savour their drinks and their time off all holiday long.
