Today, Endeavour Group’s ALH Hotels has revealed a new partnership with SevenRooms across all of its 300+ venues nationwide. Endeavour Group’s decision to integrate the all-in-one marketing and operations platform into the user-experience of its on-premise business was reportedly made in order to enhance its reservation experience and to generate consumer loyalty.

“With SevenRooms’ versatile platform, we’re poised to efficiently handle our bustling reservation schedule and waitlists, offering customers a seamless booking experience right from the palm of their hand,” said Paul Walton, Managing Director of ALH.

“This collaboration will empower ALH with invaluable data insights, bolstering our efforts to expand and nurture our loyal customer base. This data-driven approach aligns seamlessly with our holistic data strategy, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of hospitality excellence.”

Since integrating the SevenRooms technology into its operations in March, ALH Group has been able to retain over 1,000 covers by cross-promoting other venues within its portfolio. According to SevenRooms’ Managing Director APAC Paul Hadida, “ALH almost became a victim of its own success, outgrowing its previous platform.

“Now it can roll out an even better guest experience, unencumbered, as it grows. We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with ALH, and help it use SevenRooms to increase revenue, incentivise loyalty and continue to grow its portfolio.”

ALH Group was also recognised as a suitable candidate for SevenRooms’ services due to the large degree of diversity between the different venues within its portfolio, with each venue featuring a unique persona and vision.

The newly announced partnership also follows in the wake of strong end of year results for the hotel group.

“In Hotels, optimised food and bar menus and upgrades to accommodation delivered sales and gross profit margin improvement,” said Endeavour Group’s CEO Steve Donohue in August.

“Gaming returned to growth in H2, supported by investment in new games. We made progress on our pipeline of targeted renewals, with renovated venues delivering an enhanced guest experience and improved performance.”

Paul Hadida added: “At SevenRooms, we’re on a mission to empower the best, and there are few groups that are more indicative of that than ALH. It’s home to some of Australia’s most iconic venues, and through this partnership, we’ll be able to help ALH elevate its already leading reputation, by turning guest experience into a driver of loyalty.”

Drinks Trade reached out to Paul Hadida earlier in the year to discuss SevenRooms’ proposition to its clients. In this interview, Hadida gave the following advice to venue owners: “It’s about basics at the moment. It’s about really giving the fundamentals and the basics of customer service: that’s from the moment that they think about your venue through to the experience that they’re having in your venue and then also how you connect with them after. Maybe they’re not dining out as much as they used to… So someone might have gone out three times a week but, the economic environment is not conducive to that at the moment, so when they do go out they want to have the best experience possible. That’s different for people and you need to be able to personalise and give them the experience they want.”
