The date has been set for the opening of BrewDog's new Sydney venue.

With a capacity for close to 1,000 guests, BrewDog will open on Friday, 2 December in the South Eveleigh precinct.

The partnership sees Australian Venue Co (AVC) lease and operate the BrewDog branded experience with 40 brews on tap, including session-strength pale ales and lagers to imperial stouts and sours, and ‘BrewDog & Friends’ guest beer tap takeovers and collaborations with local breweries.

Housed in the Locomotive Workshop, the 3.2m redevelopment accommodates 720 patrons inside and 190 outside with an expansive indoor dining space and communal beer garden.

BrewDog South Eveleigh is the first NSW partnership between BrewDog and Australian Venue Co. The heritage site is owned by the NSW Government and AVC leases the space from them. BrewDog and AVC signed an agreement earlier this year to partner on a number of BrewDog pubs along the Australian eastern seaboard. BrewDog Pentridge opens next week.

Australian Venue Co. NSW State Manager Evan Gargaro says, “We’re thrilled to bring ‘The Dog’ to Sydney! The iconic space and historic South Eveleigh precinct make this a truly special venue. BrewDog South Eveleigh will not only offer Sydneysiders a great new destination for drinks and good times but has also created 55 new jobs.”
