Craft brewery Brick Lane has created a new range exclusively for Coles Liquor - Tinnies.
Tinnes is now at Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars stores country-wide and includes a Pale Ale, Tropical XPA and a Session IPA.
Crafted in-house and brewed in Victoria by Brick Lane, each beer is presented in a carefully designed can to represent the different elements of the Tinnies range and celebrate the artistry behind the creation of the beers.
Sydney graffiti creator Alex Lehours designed the bright Tropical XPA can and says he was inspired by the brewing process and the summer season.
“I loved the idea of the can representing what the brewer would be thinking when he’s creating the beer," he said. "The design is really an explosion of the thoughts and ideas that would be going through a brewer’s mind as part of that process. And it’s all held together with a wave to bring home the summer-ness of it all,”
Coles Acting Chief Executive Liquor and Hotels Cathi Scarce says Tinnies has been designed with Coles customers in mind.
“Our beer experts listened to feedback from customers and worked with brewing specialists to develop delicious craft beers for all to enjoy,” she said.
“We know that Australians like to drink an easy to find, tasty beer without too much pretention. So we’ve worked with a local craft brewery to combine their passion with a whole ecosystem of high-quality producers of premium hops, barley and pure water to create a great range of beers that are easy to find and easy to drink.
“Brewed in small batches with quality hops, and available Australia wide, Tinnies is a craft beer for everyone, the perfect summer beer.”
Brick Lane launched its new, state-of-the-art brewery in Dandenong in August 2018. The brewhouse has an annual capacity of 10 million litres of beer annually with a final expanded site capacity of more than 25 million litres of sales beer per annum.
