Chair of Wine Grape Growers Australia Retires

Vic Patrick, Chair of Wine Grape Growers Australia will retire this month. Patrick has been a member of the grape and wine community for 40 years. VicPatrick010808-001-199x300

Brian Walsh, Chair of Wine Australia thanked Patrick for his contribution in announcement on Tuesday.

“Vic has been the Chair of Wine Grape Growers Australia for the last five years as well as one of the South Australian representatives”, Walsh said. “In this time, he helped guide the successful merger of the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation and Wine Australia Corporation, as well as contributed to economic and environmental sustainability for grape growers.”

“On behalf of the Board and staff of Wine Australia, we would like to thank Vic for his great contribution and wish him well in his future endeavours”, Walsh added.

Patrick will continue to enjoy his time managing his Aberdeen Angus cattle enterprise and spending time with his wife Margie and two dogs in the Eden Valley.
