Diageo-owned Don Julio has launched a new limited-edition tequila into Australia, the Don Julio Rosado. Achieving a natural pink hue via ageing in Ruby Port wine casks sourced from Douro, Portugal, the rosé tequila is described as displaying notes of creamy strawberry, ripe raspberry, dried plum, roasted caramel and a touch of rich cocoa.
“We’re incredibly excited to introduce the newest member of the Don Julio family to Australia: Don Julio Rosado. A light and deliciously smooth tequila, Rosado is the ideal beverage to enjoy during the day as the temperatures begin to increase,” said Iven Breneger, Senior Brand Manager at Tequila Don Julio Australia.

The new rosé Reposado tequila has been made available to the Australian market for a limited time only at an RRP of $249.
