Champagne Specialist Program
This evening, Drinks Trade attended the Champagne Specialist Program, an exclusive masterclass put on by Comité Champagne and the Sydney Wine Academy.
Hosted at Quay Restaurant, Sydney, the masterclass and presentation was led by Stéphanie Martel, head of the Champagne education division at Comité Champagne, and supported by Director of Champagne Bureau Australia John Noble.
The event was divided into a theory and tasting component.
In the theory session, Stéphanie Martel updated trade about both the roles of Comité Champagne and about its various ongoing and upcoming research projects and initiatives.
The tasting component of the event featured four Blanc de Blanc Champagnes deliberately chosen to reflect different Champagne ‘terroirs.’
