Sailor Jerry launches RTD range in Australia
Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum has introduced its first RTDs to Australia, available in two distinct flavours – “Rum and Dry” and “Rum and Cola”.
Ramblin' Rascal bar was the venue for the official festivities, which included killer rum cocktails, burgers from a hip Newtown joint called Mary’s, plus complimentary tattooing of partygoers by Lil Tokyo.
The products mark the first RTD liquid innovation since the launch of the original Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum 19 years ago.
The RTDs will launch initially in Australia, before rolling out across the globe.
True to the traditional notes of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, the RTDs are blended with cola and dry ginger flavours for a refreshing drink that’s ready to go straight from the can.
Global Sailor Jerry Brand Ambassador Gravy Thomas - who was on hand for the launch and did a little bar-top dancing at the launch - said: “Australians are going to be the first to experience these RTDs, just in time for the warmer months! These maintain the same authentic Sailor Jerry spirit. The combination of our iconic bold rum with delicious cola or dry ginger flavours is one we know they are going to love.”
The rum was made to honour the philosophy and passion of the grandfather of old-school American tattooing, Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins.
The RTDs will be available from mid-September with an RRP of $26 for a 4 Pack and $58 for a 10 Pack.
