In commemoration of a decade-long journey to redefine modern Australian gins, Four Pillars is launching a limited-edition release bottle of its iconic Rare Dry Gin to celebrate its tenth birthday. It has also taken out the prize of The Whisky Exchange's Gin of the Year, the first-ever Australian brand to do so.
The release is a tribute to the original gin that propelled a group of mates to the forefront of Australian gin culture, with the Rare Dry gin now a cornerstone of the Four Pillars collection.
The exclusive bottle design of the commemorative release is a play on the iconic black and orange colourway of the original design, nodding to the brand’s blend of Australian botanicals and oranges used to craft the award-winning and unchanged recipe.
The ten-year anniversary of Australia’s biggest gin brand has been one of celebration and gratitude.
Co-founder Matt Jones said, “Wow, so that’s what ten years feels like alongside two of the best humans, friends and business partners you could ever hope to meet.
“Cheers to you, Cameron MacKenzie and Stuart Gregor, and cheers to the not-so-little gin business we created together, along with the most extraordinary collection of friends, partners, and supporters without whom we simply couldn’t have done any of this.
“Happy Birthday Four Pillars Gin and our whole gin family.”
To celebrate the milestone, Four Pillars hosted birthday celebrations last weekend with free gin tastings, special drinks, exclusive classes and live entertainment at the Healesville Distillery and Sydney Laboratory.
Four Pillars also announced a welcome early 10th birthday gift last week when the Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin won The Whisky Exchange’s Gin of the Year for 2024. The Whisky Exchange is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious spirit sellers in the UK. The brand represents the first-ever Australian product to win the award.
