NED Australian Whisky, the whisky brand produced by Top Shelf International, has announced a new whisky liqueur: Golden Bickie presented by NED.
The new release, which has been crafted using golden syrup, coconut and oats, is described by Top Shelf International as bursting with the rich warmth of whisky with the sweet nostalgia of golden syrup, creamy coconut, and comforting oats.
“We wanted to create a whisky liqueur that was truly Australian in character,” said Trent Fraser, CEO at Top Shelf International.
“Golden Bickie captures the essence of Aussie comfort – sunshine, good company, and a touch of indulgence. It’s fitting of our mission statement to create world class spirits with an Australian accent and playfulness.”
The new release comes at a time of growth for the flavoured whisk(e)y category, with Southtrade's Sheep Dog Peanut Butter Whiskey being recognised in the 2024 Australian Drinks Awards as the Dark Spirit currently most gaining in popularity and Pernod Ricard announcing the arrival of Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey to Australian shores.
Golden Bickie presented by NED is available now at goldenbickie.com, and will be distributed to select wholesalers over the coming weeks.
