Good Drinks Australia has announced the appointment of Mick McKeown as Head of Sales and Marketing.
Following an extensive search, McKeown joins Good Drinks with broad experience and success across sales and marketing with Carlton and United Breweries.
For twelve years, McKeown held several key roles across craft, international and contemporary beer, including Head of Sales, National General Manager of Craft Beer, General Manager/Sales Director (Queensland operations), Head of International Brands and Marketing Manager (Great Northern, Carlton Dry and Carlton Draught).
Good Drinks Managing Director John Hoedemaker says McKeown’s skills, background and leadership add significant value to the team.
“Mick joins Good Drinks at a pivotal time in our business. His experience and expertise will be a significant driver in continuing to turbo-charge the growth of our brands across the country. Mick’s leadership at Good Drinks is invaluable, and his local connections across Queensland and the East Coast will help steer our targeted national strategy.
“With Gage Roads Brew Co and Matso’s continuing to outperform the market, new venues including Matso’s Sunshine Coast about to open, partner brands such as Magners, Coors and Miller leaders in the flavoured beer and international categories, and the launch of our new brand Rider Lite, there’s a lot to be excited about across the Good Drinks portfolio,” said Hoedemaker.
