Angel’s Envy Meet the Maker event

Earlier this week, Bacardi-Martini Australia (BMA) celebrated the official national launch of Angel’s Envy - the world's #1 ultra premium Kentucky Straight Bourbon. 

Hosted by Angel's Envy Whiskey Specialist, Kayla Griogoriou with guest of honour, Angel's Envy's first appointed Master Distiller, Owen Martin, at Hinchliff House, the interactive event focused on the three key stages of production - grains, maturation and finishing. Guests from across the bar and hospitality industry were welcomed to the evening and enjoyed some signature Angel's Envy cocktails such as the Manhattan, Mint Julep and Orchard spritz alongside three exclusive cocktails made by three influential bartenders across Australia including:

  • Bluegrass Breakfast - Created by Nat Yao from 'Meatsmith' in Melbourne to honor the grain and fermentation processes of Angel's Envy Bourbon. A timeless combination of whiskey and sour with a citrus float that allows the grains to shine through.
  • Louisville Daisy - Created by Martini McConnell from 'Frog's Hollow Saloon'in Brisbane. Light and floral fizz to complement the stone fruit, citrus and caramel notes from Angel's Envy first maturation in new oak barrels. 
  • Kentucky's Cousin - Created by Jarah Retana from 'El Primo Sanchez' in Sydney, paying homage to the finishing process of Angel's Envy. A sophisticated twist on the manhattan, with a mexican touch, offering a refined celebration of both the spirit's craftsmanship and cultural influences.
