BACARDÍ Legacy Australian final 2019/20
Adam Dow from Dead Ringer in Sydney was announced victorious at the Australian final of the BACARDÍ Legacy Global Cocktail Competition 2019/20.
Dow’s drink, The Golden Rule, was judged not only against its ingredients and methods, but also the expertise in promoting the drink to the public. In the end, his slick presentation skills and the delicious flavour of his cocktail won the judges over at Canvas House in Melbourne.
With this win, Adam has moved from Top 8 last year to now looking forward to representing Australia on the global stage in Miami.
The Golden Rule was inspired by the old age rule – treat others as you’d wish to be treated. It combines BACARDÍ Carta Blanca, citrus, honey bitters and rosewater.
The past six Australian BACARDÍ Legacy winners – Fred Siggins, Alissa Gabriel, Andrew Bennett, Dave Kerr, James Irvine and Jenna Hemsworth – were also in attendance and showcased their Legacy cocktails to guests (pictured above with Adam Dow).
