Patrón Tequila Pop-Up bar launches at MCA
Patrón Tequila has partnered with the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) to launch the Patrón Pop Up from October 31, 2019 until February 16, 2020.
The bar launched this week, with VIPs, influencers and media among the first to experience the venue. Signature Patrón cocktails were paired food, a Patrón Hacienda VR experience and tunes from friend of the brand, Jimmy2Sox throughout the evening.
As an ode to Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead, there was a special performance by electric violinist, Jane Cho and bespoke Day of the Dead face painting for guests.
Located at the front of one of Australia’s most spectacular and iconic sites on the edge of Sydney Harbour, the Patrón Pop Up will offer an experience brought to life through the creation of cocktails.
“Patrón Tequila represents the seamless balance between craftmanship and refinement," said Andres Valderrama, Patrón Tequila Marketing Manager, Bacardi Martini Australia.
"The Patrón Pop Up is the first of its kind in Australia and will bring to life unique experiences, transporting consumers to a journey of tequila making perfection from unaged icons such as Patrón Silver to aged expressions rested in French, Hungarian and American oak such as Patrón Reposado and Patrón Añejo.”
The Patrón Pop Up at the MCA will offer an array of exciting activations over the course of 16 weeks including a range of signature cocktails, sharable jugs, DJ sets, bottle art Sunday’s, VR experiences.
More exclusive offers for tequila lovers to be announced in the coming weeks.
The Pop-Up coincides with a major retrospective of British artist Cornelia Parker, who is renowned for transforming everyday objects into haunting installations.
The bar will be open at the MCA from Wednesdays to Sundays, 4pm to 10pm all the way through to February.
