Jack Daniel’s has released the second instalment of its Bonded Series, the Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash. As suggested by the name, Triple Mash is a blend of three straight bottled-in-bond whiskeys, including 60% Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye Whiskey, 20% Jack Daniel's Bonded Tennessee Whiskey, and 20% Jack Daniel's Bonded American Malt Whiskey for an extra layer of intrigue.
“Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash is the culmination of over 150 years of experience in creating the highest quality whiskeys possible,” said Chris Fletcher, Master Distiller at Jack Daniel’s.
“By drawing on our rich heritage, we’ve managed to create an extraordinary bottled-in-bond straight whiskey that only Jack Daniel’s could make.”
The most premium offering in the Bonded Series to date, Triple Mash is bottled at 50% abv in a bottle inspired by the original design of the 1895 Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey bottle. It follows on from the release of Jack Daniel's Bonded mid last year.
As is stipulated by the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, a bonded whiskey must be distilled by a single distiller, during a single distilling season, matured in a government-bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof (50% abv).
Fletcher said, “each whiskey in our Bonded series provides an experience like no other, providing opportunities for both enthusiasts and new drinkers to explore what Jack Daniel’s has to offer. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store next.”
Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash is available now in selected Australian retail outlets at an RRP of $110. Broadscale availability is expected to follow in October.
