McGuigan Wines has won the Trophy for Best Semillon at the 2018 NSW Wine Awards.

The McGuigan 2013 Bin 9000 Semillon was awarded the accoladeat an exclusive ceremony held at
Government House in Sydney.

Chair of Judges, Dave Brookes, said: “The trophy winning wines from the 2018 NSW Wine Awards shine
a light on the wine styles in which NSW excels and the quality of recent vintages in the state.

“As in previous years the Semillon categories were very strong and the McGuigan 2013 Bin 9000 Semillon
grabbed the Best Semillon Trophy by showing all the toasty complexity and pure drinkability that we all love
from mature Hunter Valley Semillon.”

Peter Hall, Chief Winemaker McGuigan Wines, collected the award for the winning wine, which has won a
cabinet of gold medals and trophies on the international wine show circuit.

Hall said: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious award for our Semillon, which is one of the most
awarded wines in the McGuigan portfolio. McGuigan Wines is proud to champion Hunter Valley Semillon both
domestically and on the world stage.”

McGuigan Bin 9000 Semillon also recently received the Semillon Trophy at the prestigious 2018 International Wine & Spirits Competition - the eighth time in a row its lead the Semillon category on the international stage.
