Calabria Family Wines has announced two new appointments to its sales team in Victoria.

Darrell Swanson has been appointed as the wine company’s new Business Development Manager and will be responsible for servicing the on-premise in Melbourne’s CBD and Eastern Suburbs.

Darrell was previously Area Sales Manager for Echelon Wines and prior to that, Brand Development Manager for Vranken Pommery. In total, Darrel has 15 years’ experience from the wine industry, specialising in sales and management.

A spokesperson for Calabria said, “Darrell is a great asset to the Calabria team, displaying a professional and high level of customer service and an entrepreneurial approach to sales and customers.”

Raymond Grech has also joined the company, based in the Riverina.

Raymond holds over 30 years of experience in the wine industry, including experience from account executive and management roles at Grant Burge Wines and Taylors Wines.

“Ray will service and oversee North/West Melbourne and Western Victoria, specialising in off-premise trade”, a spokesperson for Calabria said.

“Ray’s passion and enthusiasm for working with family leading wine brands was the key attraction for joining Calabria Wines.”
