Fourth Wave Wine has ventured into the world of distilling with one of its brands Tread Softly creating two delicious gins featuring delicate botanicals, beautifully presented in a gorgeous floral bottle. For every six bottles of gin sold, Tread Softly will plant one native Australian tree to help restore deforested Australian bushland.
“We recently achieved a celebratory milestone of planting 500,000 trees for Carbon Neutral. Now Tread Softly fans and gin lovers can help make a positive contribution to the environment by helping us work towards our goal of planting 1 million trees,” said Ross Marshall, general manager, Fourth Wave Wine.
Tread Softly Gin is lighter in alcohol (37 per cent), compared to most contemporary gins and has a refreshingly refined taste, enhanced by subtle botanicals which have been carefully hand-selected and blended by a skilled botanist.
The bottles are made from 100 per cent recycled tinted glass and feature a beautifully illustrated design of pretty flora and fauna which is reflected through the glass, giving a delightful, eye-catching appearance of a rambling watery garden.
“We wanted to create a gin that looks just as good as it tastes, whilst reflecting Tread Softly’s commitment to the beauty of nature and the presentation of the environment,” said Ross.
Tread Softly Dry Gin.
A traditional style of gin, infused with juniper, jasmine and native citrus characters. The palate is imbued with notes of angelica, pink rose and chamomile as well as hints of eucalypt and nutmeg. A refined style that tastes great with tonic or soda and is delicious in a classic martini.
Tread Softly Pink Gin.
Featuring a delicate blush colour, Tread Softly Pink Gin is lusciously distilled with juniper and finger limes. Evocative, and aromatically charged on the nose, secondary notes provide a profusion of pink peppercorn and hibiscus, complemented by cinnamon, lemon myrtle and nutmeg. Perfect with tonic and a slice of orange.
Tread Softly Gin is available from major liquor retailers nationally,
RRP $59.99 each.
