Travel platform Klook and The Singapore Tourism Board will bring a taste of Singapore's lively nightlife to Sydney's Circular Quay with the The Singaportal this September.

On September 7 and 8, attendees will have the chance to sample the essence of Singapore's finest, whether that's a Singapore Sling at the iconic Raffles Long Bar pop-up or a walk along Satay Street to sample street food and a local beer or wandering through the giant SuperTree Grove.

Henry Hooper, General Manager at Klook ANZ, said he's delighted to bring the vibrancy of Singapore's nightlife to Sydney, providing an unforgettable night for attendees.

"The Singaportal will offer Sydneysiders a truly immersive experience, enabling them to savor the diverse and thrilling aspects of Singaporean culture," he said.

LeRoy Chan, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at Raffles Hotel Singapore said The Singaportal is a unique opportunity for Sydney-siders to enjoy the island nation's national cocktail.

"As a much-lauded quintessential experience when in Singapore, it was a natural choice to showcase the iconic Singapore Sling, widely considered to be the national cocktail of Singapore, at the Long Bar pop-up at Singaportal," he said.

In conjunction with Singapore distillery Brass Lion, two variations of the famous Singapore Sling will also be on offer at the Raffles Long Bar pop-up, created especially for the event - the Sakura Sling and the Gin Sling.

"We aim to offer guests at Singaportal a taste of the original Singapore Sling," said Chan. "We hope it might rekindle fond memories for those who had personally experienced it at Long Bar, and for those who have yet to visit the bar, encourage them to do so on their next trip to Singapore."

Jane Freaney, Marketing Manager at Tiger Beer, a sponsor of the event, said The Singaportal is about celebrating the spirit of Asia, with an ice-cold Tiger Beer in hand, of course.

Freaney said she's most excited to give Sydney-siders a chance to "experience our refreshing brew with uncompromising quality that is great tasting and ideal with Asian food."

The Singaportal will feature two sessions each night, the first, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, is a family-friendly session with a relaxed atmosphere featuring a chilled DJ set. The second session, from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am, will be more lively and cater for adults.

At each session, one lucky guest will win return tickets to Singapore courtesy of Scoot, staying at Raffle's Hotel with all their Singapore activities sponsored by Klook.
