Two avid lovers of gin and wine have combined the bold flavours in an RTD called Ginscato.

Managing director of Signature Wines Dan Khouzam and Will Simpson are the team behind Ginscato, which is produced using crisp Adelaide Hills moscato and gin infused with juniper, hibiscus and elderflower.

Wirra Wirra has supplied the wine, while the gin is made by Imperial Measures Distilling.

“Having access to the best ingredients was key to the brand development, we wanted to shed light on some of Adelaide’s greatest products both wines and spirits and Ginscato has allowed us to do just this," Simpson said. 

Khouzam added: “We’ve seen the exponential growth and popularity of locally produced gin and wine varieties and recognised a real opportunity for this premium Ready To Drink product to be embraced by the market with just as much enthusiasm”.

Launched in late 2018, Ginscato has been well received by the market, appearing in multiple venues and festivals including The Sailing Club and Lucky’s Beach Club.
