Westward, the highest-rated American Single Malt Whiskey, have launched their popular Westward American Two Malts BridgePort Brewing Co collaboration in Australia.

This limited-edition expression – previously only available to purchase in the brands' hometown of Portland, Oregon – marks Westward’s first-ever collaboration where the team of distillers have turned an iconic brewery’s recipe into one of the brand's whiskeys.

Brewed alongside the BridgePort team using a clone of their Kingpin Red Ale, which boasts a relatively high rye content, the result is a complex and warm expression perfect for winter.

A project driven by Lead Distiller, Miles Munroe, who called BridgePort Brewing his home when he first came to Portland from brewing school, this collaboration highlights Westward’s unwavering dedication to the brewing process in their whiskey-making efforts.

Together with Founder and Master Distiller, Christian Krogstad and Partner & Distillery Operations Manager, Andrew Tice, these former brewers-turned-distillers have yet again re-imagined the ways in which delicious, bold, and robust whiskeys can be produced.

Miles Munroe, Lead Distiller at Westward Whiskey says, “Many of the Westward team are ex-brewers, and Oregon is one of the most iconic beer-producing regions in the world, so the Westward American Two Malts BridgePort Brewing Co Limited Edition was born from our love of beer and our proud brewing roots.”

Imported and distributed by Think Spirits in Australia, Westward American Two Malts BridgePort Brewing Co (100 proof - 50% ABV) will be available from select retailers, including Cambridge Cellars. RRP $170.
