“My experience in the industry has been extensive both domestically and internationally,” Barnes says.

“I look forward to focusing on larger strategic goals for Mount Pleasant while leading the team and continuing to produce iconic, elegant and expressive wines.”

Barnes served as Executive Officer for NSW Wine for close to six years. Among other things, in 2021, Barnes secured an additional $1.2 million in funding for the New South Wales wine industry to be distributed between 2021-2023.
