A Modern Reimagining Of White Rum

Since 2017, Master Distiller Dave Withers’ love of rum and Sydney's great rum distilling heritage has led the Archie Rose team to an exploration of sugar cane, one of Australia's most abundant crops resulting in experimental products such as Virgin Cane Spirit, Virgin Cane Rhum and last year's High Test Molasses Rum

Emboldened by the move to their new distillery in Botany, Sydney in 2020 and its incredible kit, the Archie Rose team is now proud to reveal White Cane, its next core range spirit and a showcase of sustainably sourced, cold distilled high-test New South Wales' molasses. And while in Australia, White Cane can’t be called a white rum, this spirit marks the next chapter in company Archie Rose's rum story.

According to Mr Withers, this local expression is soft, full-bodied and bold in flavour: “Going back to our Australian roots to create White Cane has been exciting, challenging but most of all, rewarding. Like all of our spirits, the quality of the end result is reflective of the exceptional local ingredients on which it rests. White Cane is a ubiquitous and versatile spirit packed full of funky character and reflects the country's bold, rich rum heritage”.

In the glass? It's a vibey, easy, elegant drink with a pillowy softness and refreshing finish. It includes notes of golden syrup, pineapple, marshmallow and a hint of mint. An every-day-is-a-holiday spirit that leans straight into mojitos, daiquiris and tropical cocktails any time of year.

White Cane, 40 per cent in 700ml bottles is available via all good wholesalers. Reach out to your local ambassador who can share information about pricing, deals, in-store theming, sample stock and product tastings.
