Moet Hennessy Australia has created an irresistible Father's Day promotion: Ardbeg whisky's mascot Shortie is personally delivering bottles to dog-loving dads in NSW and Victoria.
Orders placed from midday August 12 until stocks last will include a bottle of Ardbeg Ten Years Old 700ml in a bone-shaped tin and will arrive on fathers' doorsteps with Shortie as the delivery (good) boy.
To order, customers purchase the Ardbeg Bone Father’s Day Delivery Experience via Dan Murphy's. Shortie will arrive between 9am and 5pm on either August 31 or September 1.
The offer is available for select Sydney and Melbourne metro postcodes only.
Customers can also request a personalised note to their dads, tucked inside Shortie’s coat.
The whisky has won awards including ‘Scotch Whisky of the Year’ - Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible (2008, 2009) ‘World’s Best Single Malt’ at the World Whiskies Awards (2010, 2013). Winner 12 Years and Under category at 2019 World Whisky Awards 2019 Distillery of the Year - International Whisky Competition.
Distillery Manager Mickey Heads said: “Shortie is a bona-fide Islay icon. He is just as much a part of Ardbeg as our whisky is. There’s no better way to celebrate Father’s Day than having the hound himself deliver your whisky.
“When it comes to the bottle inside, Ardbeg Ten Years Old has stunning briny notes that bring a welcome taste of our Distillery’s long association with the sea. Alongside the familiar power of smoke and peat, that salty tang is perfectly balanced with sweetness.”
The Ardbeg Bone Father’s Day Delivery Experience is priced at $99.
