Grant Burge Wines has unveiled a new limited edition version of its Barossa Ink Shiraz, made in partnership with esteemed New York City artist Craig Costello, founder of KRINK

The collaboration marks KRINK’s first ever partnership with a wine brand, adding to his extensive artistic career that spans more than 30 years and involves collaborating with renowned brands such as Tiffany & Co and Levi’s.

“The Grant Burge Wines brand ethos of ‘Leave Your Mark’ aligns seamlessly with KRINK and his artistic style,” said Amy Darvill, Marketing Director of Australia and New Zealand at Accolade Wines.

“We are thrilled to collaborate and introduce this disruptive limited-edition design.”

The bold graffiti styling is also a natural fit for Grant Burge’s Barossa Ink collection, which was introduced into the Accolade Wines family in 2017 to deliver the boldest, most vibrant and most impactful wines possible. Following the success of its existing portfolio, the Ink by Grant Burge range has experienced 52% volume growth over the past four years. Or, as Darvill puts it, “Barossa Ink Shiraz has garnered a dedicated following.”

Reflecting on the collaboration, Costello said that “collaborating with Barossa Ink was a natural fit - we are both creatively developing formulas to make something special. It was great to incorporate my drip aesthetic with Barossa Ink’s existing branding to design something visually unique.”

Expect Grant Burge’s Krink X Barossa to display a bold and generous profile oozing with rich berry notes and hints of mocha. A Dan Murphy’s exclusive, the limited release wine is set to be publicly released nationwide in July and will remain available while stocks last.

“We anticipate that this limited edition pack will not only resonate with our loyal consumers but also attract a younger, creative audience to the brand,” said Darvill.
