The new packaging has been designed in Japan with the intention of creating a premium point of sale statement that more closely mirrors the brand’s overall position.
Michael Vousden, Beer and Cider Marketing Manager for Asahi Premium Beverages said: “The new Asahi Super Dry packaging is sleek and sophisticated, mirroring the qualities of the beer in line with our consumer base. The revamped look is a refreshing update for the brand aesthetic and we look forward to getting it out into the market.”
While the carton packaging will be receiving a complete overhaul, the Asahi Super Dry liquid will remain completely unaltered, while the only change taking place to the bottle will be a few, minor text adjustments to the back label.
Stock of the new look carton and six-pack is expected to arrive into Australia in late August and will flow into trade from September onwards.
