The Wine Communicators of Australia's (WCA) flagship event, the Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Sydney on Friday, 18 August 2023.
Attendees will have the chance to sample this year's award-winning wines over a three-course meal while hearing from the Chair of Judges, Sarah Crowe.
Wine journalist, critic and publisher Angus Hughson will act as Master of Ceremonies, treating the audience to tales gathered from his many roles in the industry, including Editor for Vinous, Co-Publisher of The Australian Ark, founder of Winepilot and co-publisher of The Vintage Journal.
The highlight of the event will be the announcement of NSW Legend of the Vine for 2023, a prestigious award that recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian wine industry.
The winner will join an esteemed company with previous winners, including Andrew Caillard MW, Sandra Przibilla, Lyndey Milan OAM and Huon Hooke.
Along with the wining and dining, guests will have the chance to win raffle prizes and after-party drinks at a venue soon to be announced.
