Until now, the award-winning craft beer Yenda range has only been available on draught, but in a bid to extend the beer’s availability across Australia and in line with the growing popularity of craft beer, the Australian Beer Company has bottled its hometown brews in a new craft packaged range.

The bottled Yenda craft beer range features the brand’s five styles - pale ale, IPA, golden, red and hell.

Now available in bottle, the company says the packaged beer range will open up the availability for consumers across Australia to enjoy the local drops.

“Craft is the fastest growing segment within the beer market. We believe we can help accelerate this growth by breaking down the barriers to craft beer, by coming into the market with an award-winning beer that is accessible yet authentic, [with] affordable pricing and informative packaging”, Australian Beer Company’s Derek O’Donnell said.

The Yenda draught range was launched last October and has since received a number of awards. Both the pale ale and IPA were awarded silver at the Australian Craft Beer Awards and Royal Sydney Beer Show, where they also won two bronze medals. The pale also won the People’s choice Best Ale at The Australian Hotel Beer Festival.

The beers are available in 330ml bottles (six-pack and 24-bottle case formats) and in a further bid to increase the accessibility of these craft beers, the Australian Beer Company has chosen to feature easy to read labels, which tell the drinker the malt and hop intensity of the brew, as well as what it tastes like and which food the beer pairs best with.
