Every July, thousands of Australians take up the challenge to ‘go dry’ and give up alcohol to support those affected by cancer. This year, Australian Bitters Co. will be backing those Aussie legends by enlisting the help of New York City’s mocktail master, Andrew Atwell.

Atwell will be working with the premium herbal bitters range to create and share a series of 31 signature Australian Bitters Co. mocktails for the 31 days of July. In his role at New York’s The Wild Son, Atwell has developed a reputation for crafting unique, individually tailored and healthy mocktails perfect for when you need to wet your whistle but are avoiding the strong stuff.

“High end mocktails utilising the best ingredients have well and truly been embraced by NYC culture,” says Atwell. “It’s great to see Aussies embracing the trend and I’m so excited to be able to share my knowledge with them, to put to use for a great cause.”

‘Dry Heroes’ are encouraged to head along to Dry July venues throughout NSW, VIC, SA, WA and QLD, which will be serving up a variety of tasty Australian Bitters Co. mocktails.

Sally Byrne, head of Australian marketing strategy for the brand, said Australian Bitters Co. is extremely proud to partner with the fundraiser.

“The Australian Bitters Co. team wholeheartedly supports this enormous campaign and the many thousands of Aussie heroes who embrace July as a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference. We’re thrilled to be on board again this year.”

Over 125,000 participants across Australia and New Zealand have taken up the Dry July challenge over the campaign’s 10 years and collectively raised $28 million for more than 50 cancer services.
