BACARDÍ has released the second episode of its three-part video series, Party Talks, which explores the state of Australian nightlife in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, shining a light on what keeps the country’s key cultural curators going and up at night.

Watch the Brisbane 'Party Talks' here.

The latest episode was shot around the recent House of Bacardi party in Sydney and features insights from some of the city's most important and well-loved nightlife notables including Tyson Koh (Keep Sydney Open), Nes, Christopher Kevin Au, The Meeting Tree (Raph Lauren & Joyride), Jimmy Nice (One Day), Jade Le Flay, Arca Bay, Luen, and Jono Seidler.

These influencers discuss the biggest challenges facing Sydney’s party scene, what can be done to reshape the current landscape as well as the lockout laws, their ultimate Sydney party moment, and what the future holds for the city they love.

"We've always had amazing talent and passion in Sydney," Keep Sydney Open’s Tyson Koh said. "There's no shortage of DJs and promoters who want to put on great parties that enliven the city. With the lockouts however, our nightlife has received a kick in the guts and Sydney's confidence as a whole has suffered. Instead of playing politics, the Baird government has an opportunity to work with nightlife practitioners to build a 24-hour city we can all be proud of."

The House of Bacardi party in Sydney was the second in a series that sees BACARDÍ get behind the party throwers and fans who are both carrying and changing the cultural fabric of Australia’s cities.

The series of free parties, which were also held in Brisbane, finished up in Melbourne on Thursday, with after dark heroes Daydreams, Pelvis, VICE, and CRXZY SXXY CXXL each curating rooms, featuring the best of the artful city’s late night scene, including icons Tornado Wallace, local duo Awesome Wales, Sydney’s Donny Benét (LIVE), Goddess feat. MIMI, SHOUSE, and more.

Stay tuned for the Melbourne episode.
