BACARDÍ has collaborated with talent from some of Sydney’s most beloved bars to home deliver Mojito packs to consumers.
Partnering with Jimmy Brings, leading bartenders from iconic bars Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Swinging Cat, Stitch Bar and Double Deuce Lounge came together in a short video to demonstrate how to recreate the classic mojito and inspire those at home.
The mixologists have also shared their favourite twist on a Mojito, echoing the global BACARDÍ ‘Do What Moves You’ campaign, which celebrates self-expression, individuality and invites everyone to dance and party.
With almost 10 years’ experience behind the bar, Alissa Gabriel (above) from Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’s favourite spin on a Mojito is an Old Cuban. Adding a touch of polish and luxury to fun and fresh classic, Alissa uses dark rum, bitters and a finishing touch of champagne.
Keiren Took (pictured main) from Swinging Cat is missing the amazing buzz and energy of bar work, but believes ‘turning up the tunes and having a group chat with you friends, with a drink in hand is the only way to replicate this nowadays.’ He turns to coconut water and Sour Cherry syrup to give his take on a Mojito a bright and robust twist.
