Brancott Estate has received a packaging refresh, thanks to brand consulting and design experts, Landor Sydney. The New Zealand wine brand sought a bold new look that would still pay homage to its heritage and home.
Marketing Director of New Zealand Wine Brands Stefano Furini said, “Brancott Estate has built a reputation as a forward-thinking brand that looks to the future, but to do this, we need to acknowledge our rich and significant history.
“Brancott Vineyard is where it all began for us, and it remains an important symbol of the need to think differently, to take risks and to continue to learn and evolve.”
The new packaging depicts Brancott Vineyard, the site of the first Sauvignon Blanc plantings in Marlborough, designed to create an emotional connection with consumers. The Estate’s entire portfolio has been united with the use of this icon, incorporated across all ranges. Landon hopes the refresh will help build Brancott Estate as an iconic New Zealand brand globally.
Managing Director of Landor Dominic Walsh said, “The red shed icon has been part of the Brancott Vineyard since its very beginning and has established a unique visual presence in the landscape. We used this to form part of the new identity and establish a sense of place in the minds of consumers and differentiate the product on shelf.”
The refresh coincides with the release of Brancott Estate’s 2016 vintage wines and will appear progressively across the range.
