Zeven Lemon Strawberry Blonde is somewhat of a balance between beer and cider, offering something for those who like beer but find it a little too bitter at times.
Leimin Duong, the brewer and woman behind Zeven Lemon, has blended this brew with additional natural strawberry juice to create a beer with a slightly sweeter flavour. Zesty Lemon Strawberry Blonde is also 100 per cent natural, with no artificial preservatives or flavours.
Duong began experimenting with blending fruit into beer a few years ago after noticing a gap in the market for such a product and with rising trends in cider, products like these look to not only prove popular but also provide a cross over for beer drinkers to cider. Additionally, Duong says that the product since its initial launch has been popular among both women and men.
While the brew has been available for purchase over the last two years, Zevon Lemon Strawberry Blonde is now being launched nationally for the first time, and is currently being stocked at Dan Murphy’s and BeerBud, among others.
