Yesterday, leading non-alcoholic wine brand Brown Brothers launched its first mid-strength alternative, the Brown Brothers Mid Strength Prosecco. The sparkling wine has been bottled at an abv of 7% and is described by the company as having the same taste as the full-flavoured Brown Brothers Prosecco you know and love.
“Prosecco drinkers will be pleasantly surprised by the similarity between Brown Brothers Mid Strength Prosecco and Australia’s favourite Prosecco, Brown Brothers Prosecco NV,” said Emma Brown, fourth generation family member and Brown Brothers’ Head of Innovation.
“This launch showcases our dedication to creating outstanding low and no-alcohol wines, while also adapting to meet the increasing demand for moderation in drinking habits.”
In addition to its reduced alcohol content, Mid Strength Prosecco also has a reduced calorie count of just 72 calories per standard serve. The release adds to a growing number of mid-strength wine options including options from McGuigan and Fourth Wave Wine.
Last month at the 2024 Australian Drinks Awards, Brown Brothers affirmed its status as Australia’s leading producer of non-alcoholic wines, winning both Brand Awards available to the category. This included Brown Brothers Moscato Zero being named the Fan Favourite Non-Alcoholic Wine for 2024 and Brown Brothers Prosecco Zero receiving recognition as the Non-Alcoholic Wine Gaining in Popularity.
“As leaders in wine innovation, Brown Brothers is dedicated to expanding our range of low and no-alcohol options, ensuring that all consumers have access to high-quality alternatives,” said Brown.
Brown Brothers Mid Strength Prosecco is available now at an RRP of $21.
