Brunswick Aces Distillery has appointed a Director of Global Sales in the UK with Gurdeep Dhaliwal its first international hire with him also taking an equity stake in the business as a part of the deal.
He joins the leadership team as an invested co-owner alongside Stephen Lawrence, Stuart Henshall, James Gibson, Dr Cameron Hunt, and Diana Abelardo.
Brunswick says that Dhaliwal's experience in FMCG, most recently with Britvic as Director of Sales On-Trade Premium Europe and India, well support the brand's international growth, securing ranging for its gin and gin alternatives in both the on and off premise channels across Europe.
“Given Brunswick Aces unique dual offering within the gin and non-alcoholic markets, Gurdeep’s appointment will allow us to grow rapidly in some key international areas. Having Gurdeep on the ground in the UK will have a positive impact on our presence globally, and allow us to build stronger relationships in the market utilisng his impressive experience.
“Our existing foundations in Australasia and North America, means that we’re in a strong position to enter the European market in 2023 and 2024, bringing a uniquely Australian offering to the region as a point of difference," said Brunswick Aces co-founder and CEO, Stephen Lawrence.
Gurdeep recently visited the Brunswick Aces distillery in Melbourne and will begin meeting with European distributors and partners on his return to the UK.

The award-winning distillery has also hired Giuseppe Lo Piccolo as Victorian Off-Prem Sales Manager. He joins the team from Top Shelf International, where he grew the Grainshaker Vodka and Neds Australian Whisky brands.

Brunswick Aces was founded in 2017 in Brunswick East, Melbourne. The brand opened the doors to its dedicated distillery and Australia’s first non-alcoholic bar in early 2021. The portfolio currently consists of three alcoholic gin and three non-alcoholic sapiir options, available in Australia, New Zealand, North America, and Singapore.
