Bundaberg Brewed Drinks has launched 200ml Ginger Beer mini-cans for the Australian summer.
In response to requests from consumers and bartenders, the smaller serving size and alternative to the traditional glass stubby bottle targets venues looking to offer premium beverages, while keeping spillage and wastage to a minimum.
Bundaberg Brewed Drinks is no longer offering the 250mL Ginger Beer can that was available to trade, in favour of the new mini-can format and the savings it offers to customers. The 200ml mini-can, along with a nip of spirit, ice and suitable garnish creates the ideal serve size for most venues.
Ginger beer is again trending as a cocktail base with consumers voting with their taste buds. As a flavour, ginger has become increasingly popular – it was ranked in the top 10 trending searches in Google’s 2017 Beverage Report.
The Moscow Mule and associated Mule variations are driving demand for high-quality, premium ginger beer in venues across the country.
“Our Ginger Beer is loved by so many people around the world, it’s only fitting that we release a pack that allows people to take their favourite beverage to a wider range of experiences,” said CEO John McLean. “The size of the can means we can deliver a premium product without the wastage, something many venues appreciate as well.”
Australian-family owned Bundaberg Brewed Drinks recently celebrated 50 years of brewing, using locally grown ginger and cane sugar.
The new mini-cans are available in a 24-pack from your local distributor.
