Bundaberg Rum has unveiled its new-look packaging, hitting stores this Tuesday, November 1. The new packaging will feature across its core spirit range, including Bundaberg Rum UP, Bundaberg Rum OP, Bundaberg Spiced, Bundaberg Red, Bundaberg Tropics and Select VAT.
The summer refresh aims to modernise the brand's look and achieve consistency across the range, with the Bundy R. Bear also receiving a contemporary makeover himself.
While Bundaberg Rum’s iconic Bundy R. Bear, gold stripe and square bottle will remain, a new signature yellow colour will be the major new feature across the packaging, helping the brand to stand out in store. A new cap with the words ‘The Famous’ has been added, as well as new white labelling with clearer descriptors, looking to aid consumers in understanding Bundaberg Rum’s variations.
Jodi McLeod, Marketing Manager, Bundaberg Rum said, “Packaging is the number one touchpoint for consumers across both the on and off premise. Initial research has shown that the new packs are more recognisable and easier to navigate in store. Added to this is the use of consistent language to drive better understanding of the different liquids and variants in both our glass bottle and premix range.”
The makeover will extend to Bundaberg Rum’s premium spirit range, its packaging set to receive a refresh next year. New designs for Bundaberg Rum Small Batch, the Master Distillers Collection and Royal Liqueur will launch in the second half of 2017.
