Burleigh Brewing has teamed up with Distillery Road Market to make their annual street skating competition Keg Jump, their biggest event yet.

On Saturday, August 19, 2023, for the fourth year running, Burleigh Brewing's Keg Jump will see street skateboarders from around the country competing for an impressive prize pool valued at $5,000.

The winning skateboarder must clear and land over the most Burleigh beer kegs on the night to score the Burleigh Golden Growler trophy.

Last year's champion, Dani Campbell, broke the record with a whopping 14-keg jumps to take out the title, beating the 2021 record by three keg lengths.

Local skater, coach and mentor Patty G will MC the event featuring Queenalnd's best skating legends Pedro Day, Mike Lawry, Jesse Noonan and Jackson Pilz, and a slew of other talented street skaters from around Australia.

Following the winning skater's crowning, visitors will enjoy an after-party with live music featuring local music legends Chutney and Heavy Wax and a live art challenge with local street artists Tervo, Smalls, Gourami and Gus Eagleton.

Burleigh Brewing will be supplying drinks, and local food truck vendors That Gelato Co., Vagabond Foods and The Fried Guys will be serving up delicious street food, along with on-site food outlets Sugar Creek Smokehouse and Posadas Cantina.

Open to all ages. For more information, visit the Distillery Road Market website or head to Oztix for tickets.
