Local Sydney food cart, Busboy, has launched a crowd-funding campaign to finance a 3-wheeled craft beer and cider dispensing cargo bike called Brewboy.

Busboy describes their mobile food cart as “More portable than a food truck. Better than a food stall”, serving food at Sydney events and product launches, parties, pop-ups, picnics and promotions.

Along the way, Busboy has also frequented some of Sydney’s Inner West craft beer breweries and created strong relationships that, in turn, inspired the idea of Brewboy.

Owner Ben Ogden stated, “We want Brewboy to support the efforts that go into hand crafted beer and cider and be a vehicle to support the local craft industry by making it available to functions and events. Every beer can tell a story and we want to bring that tale to you.”

Ogden has taken to Pozible to ask the public for support in raising $14,000, which will be used to cover both the installation of a beer system into a 3-wheeled cargo bike and the licensing needs for Brewboy, amongst other start-up expenses.

Once operational, Ogden hopes to launch a Friday Drinks product to excite Sydney’s corporate crowd by providing the craft brewery experience without having to leave the boardroom.
