Mr. O’Hart joined Campari Australia as State Manager-Western Australia in January 2010 as one of the founding Campari Australia employees. He was appointed Sales Director in April 2011 and Managing Director in October 2013.
Gruppo Campari’s Managing Director-Asia Pacific, Mr. Franco Peroni said Shane O’Hart’s contribution to the business has been significant across all his roles within the organisation.
“Shane, along with his team, passionately supported the ongoing development of Campari’s brands in the market, in a way that our customers could always create value for their business. He always championed our customer’s needs and, most importantly, had utmost respect for the way they chose to operate their business.”
While Shane O’Hart himself said: “After many years in this uniquely social industry that still has such a strong sense of family values, I am very grateful for the many wonderful friends I have made along the way, and the warm, fun and often delightful experiences I have shared with our customers and supplier counterparts. I am so privileged to have been part of this industry, to have met so many wonderful people and I will fondly cherish the fantastic memories.
“Campari has been a wonderful journey for me and while it is incredibly hard to say goodbye, I leave with such fond memories of having worked with such a great team of people. I am so grateful for the many special moments, the camaraderie, the friendships and passion among the team and among our customers. I could not be more fortunate to have been part of an organisation that epitomises its values in every sense and part of a local and global team with such a big heart,” he said.

Campari will commence a search for a replacement shortly.
