Casella Family Brands is currently holding a conference in the Barossa region, with 140 delegates from 34 countries taking part. The ‘Growing Our Future Conference’ looks to showcase the regionality and diversity of Australia’s fine wines to the world’s key influencers.

With the three-day conference being held in the Barossa, delegates have the opportunity to visit the exceptional vineyards of the region. The conference looks to educate global importer and distributor partners on the uniqueness of Australia’s fine wines.

Experts from both the Australian wine and tourism industries are holding presentations during the course of the conference. Highlights include Andreas Clark, CEO Wine Australia, Brian Croser of Petaluma and Tapanappa fame and Matt McInnes, GM of Consumer Marketing at Tourism Australia, sharing insights on potential opportunities for the industry.

Andreas Clark said, “It is great to see events like the Casella Family Brands global conference taking place as a way of promoting Australian wine overseas. We need to build on the positive momentum currently surrounding the Australian wine industry, as key influencers from around the world begin to re-appraise Australian fine wine. The key to success is telling the world about our unique Australian wine story and the talented and passionate grape and wine community behind it.”

With such importance on bringing renewed awareness to the local industry, John Casella, Managing Director of Casella Family Brands, is pleased to have the opportunity to share his passion for Australia's fine wines to company’s global partners.

“The Australian wine landscape is one of the most diverse and impressive in the world. With our family of premium brands from Australia’s most renowned regions we now have an extensive portfolio of regionally distinct fine wines with an excellent expression of purpose and place. By sharing our stories with key partners from around the world, we are giving them the tools they need to champion the exceptional quality and diversity that exists within Australia when they return to their markets.” said Casella.

The Growing Our Future Conference is running from June 13th-16th 2016, the global get-together wrapping up tomorrow.
