Using white grape and apple juice, Pip & Seed according to the brand offers a lighter and cleaner style of cider that’s not as sweet as most.
To produce the new release, Jacob’s Creek Winemaker, Rebekah Richardson used her knowledge of winemaking to blend locally-sourced Australian apple juice with the brand’s wine.
Ms. Richardson said commenting on the new release: “Pip & Seed is the delicious union of crisp Australian apples and aromatic Australian grapes to create a uniquely refreshing cider and wine fusion, made in the great-tasting style of Jacob’s Creek.”
Pip & Sees comprises of three flavours – Crisp, Sweet and Fruity, which each come in a 500ml bottle, retailing individually for $8.99 or for $20 for three.
The new release will be available from July 1 through Pernod Ricard Australia.
