The first seminar of the morning will be hosted by the drinks association’s CEO, Sandra Przibilla. Ms. Przibilla will discuss three main areas of business with the audience, which will include cooperative planning for better results, shared services and publications and their purpose.
Following on is Director, Liquor and Policing of Australian Hotels Association (AHA) NSW, John Green, who will discuss alcohol related violence in the night time economy, myth versus reality.
The afternoon introduces Managing Director of Ebiquity, Richard Basil-Jones, who will explain retailer and brand advertising, the evolution of advertising, plus digital, integrated and consumer generated content in today’s world.
Simon Ford, Managing Director of Shopper Tracker Australia will also share initiatives on driving growth and liquor margins, retailer/supplier joint value creation, while providing brand and retailer case studies from abroad.
The second last session of the day welcomes CEO, Restaurant & Catering Association, John Hart, who will discuss the low-risk nature of restaurants in the night time economy and the role these establishments play in activating precincts and providing alternative activities for consumers.
The Drinks Industry Show features a show floor of industry exhibitors for buyers to sample and compare new and existing products and services.
An educational and entertaining series of show highlights include ‘explore drinks’ master classes, mixology demos, taste testing, a Brand Ambassador Bartender Takeover (BABTO) party and the Australian Bartenders Guild (ABG) Classic & Flair National Cocktail Competition.
