De Bortoli Wines has today announced the release of its new prosecco from the King Valley, as this season’s ‘go to’ sparkling wine.

Crafted by winemakers Steve Webber and John Coughlan with the help of some of the next generation De Bortoli family, it is perfectly suited to summer sipping, combined with Aperol and soda, or in a Bellini cocktail.

The Prosecco marks the first of De Bortoli’s new wave of wines to be influenced by the family’s up-and-coming fourth generation, with an RRP at just $17.99.


“Perfect style - fine bubbles, lovely hints of pear and citrus, creamy, bright and beautifully soft,” says winemaker John Coughlan.

With its label designed exclusively by Danish illustrator Mads Berg, De Bortoli Prosecco is a new favourite “plus one” for every event this summer.




Winemaking: Harvested in the cool of night to achieve a balance of freshness and acidity. Primary fermentation in stainless vats followed a few months later by a second fermentation under pressure creating the all-important delicate bubbles. This secondary fermentation adds creaminess and texture to the newly finished prosecco.

Tasting Notes: Pale with green hues. Fruit-driven with hints of spring blossom, it tastes of apple and pear with fresh lemon, gentle creaminess and fine bubbles.
