De Bortoli has called its newest wine range Grenache Wizardry, paying homage to the magic skill of winemaking, the versatility of the Grenache grape, as well as the transformative nature of different forms of wine.

Three new wines will feature under this latest brand, made from grapes grown in Victoria's Heathcote region.

Chief Winemaker Steve Webber (above) said: “Grenache is certainly up and coming in Australia.

“While it’s often hidden in blends, we were excited to let it work its magic as a single varietal wine.

“These new wines - Grenache, Grenache Blanc and Grenache Rosé – are all wonderfully easy to drink and perfect for those who are looking for a different style of wine which is lighter, gentler and textured.”

The Grenache is fragrant, drinkable, medium bodied and great with food. Grenache Blanc is described as minerally, textural, briny, and smashable. Pair with freshly shucked oysters. The Grenache Rosé is described as the rock star of pale dry textural Rosé.

Grenache Wizardry can be found at independent and major retailers, on-premise venues and at De Bortoli cellar doors. RRP: $23 each.
