The Sauvignon is a noteworthy milestone for the Devil’s Lair team and joins the 2011 Devil’s Lair 9th Chamber Cabernet Sauvignon; 2012 Devil’s Lair Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon; 2013 Dance with the Devil Cabernet Sauvignon; and 2013 The Hidden Cave Cabernet Shiraz as the newest addition to the Devil’s Lair portfolio.
Winemaker, Ben Miller said: “While Devil’s Lair has been highly regarded for chardonnay for some time now, our cabernet is really coming of age.
“We now source a significant proportion of outstanding fruit from Wilyabrup in the north, where the warmer influence from the Indian Ocean consistently produces elegant and beautifully ripe cabernet with silky-fine tannins.
“Devil’s Lair Cabernet is about the harmony of tannins and depth of flavour, a balance that makes great cabernet sauvignon”.
Made only in exceptional vintages; the 9th Chamber wines are the ultimate expression of Devil’s Lair in Margaret River.
The new release Devil’s Lair wines are now available in fine wine retailers and restaurants across Australia. The 2011 Devil’s Lair 9th Chamber Cabernet Sauvignon retails for $119.99, alongside the 2012 Devil’s Lair Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon ($49.99), 2013 Devil’s Lair Dance with the Devil Cabernet Sauvignon ($24.99) and 2013 Devil’s Lair The Hidden Cave Cabernet Shiraz ($23.99).
