Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin is launching in Australia this month, following its huge success in the UK and Europe.

The spirit balances the refreshing taste of Gordon’s London Dry Gin with the natural sweetness of raspberries and strawberries, a tang of redcurrant and the subtle flavour of junipers, served in a softly pink hue.

Inspired by an original Gordon’s recipe from the 1880s, it is made using natural fruit flavours.

It's been such a hit with consumers that UK supermarket Tesco had to introduce a quota on Gordon's Pink Gin to "ensure availability" for all customers prior to Valentine's Day. Customers were limited to four bottles per person.

Jodi McLeod, Diageo Marketing Manager, said: “With the continued growth of the gin category and as the world’s best-selling international gin, we’re excited to finally welcome Gordon’s Premium Pink to Australian drinkers.

“This has been the biggest gin innovation launch of the last decade in Great Britain and Europe. Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin has recruited new drinkers into both the spirits category and specifically gin, and we expect it to be a trend-setting choice in Australia as well. Not only does Gordon’s Premium Pink taste delicious, its inherent beauty when served in a cocktail makes it picture perfect for drinkers who capture their favourite Instagram moments.”

According to Diageo, Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin is best served as a ‘Gordon’s Pink Gin Spritz’ with prosecco, lemonade and lemon; or as a classic ‘Pink & Tonic’, in a large wine glass with ice, tonic water and a fresh strawberry cut into wedges
