Andrew Holly has been appointed Chief Viticulturist at Duxton Vineyards in the southern region of the Murray Darling region. He joins the business from Treasury Wine Estates where he was Grape Supply Manager, managing the grape supply from the Murray Darling and Riverland.

Holly has extensive experience across a wide range of industry sectors including wine, viticulture, grain, livestock, agriculture, agribusiness, horticulture, and manufacturing and sales. With over 25 years of wine industry experience in vineyard operations, HSE management systems, food & beverage, wineries, business planning, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), Andrew also has strong sales background with a graduate certificate in business administration and management, and an agriculture business degree from the University of Adelaide.

Holly has a history of significant winery and vineyard operational experience including General Manager and Winery Operations for Treasury Wine Estates where he was responsible for the operation of ten company owned and fifteen contracted winery processing sites with annual wine production in excess of 22M 9 litre cases. He has also held a National Vineyard Manager role and was responsible for the overall performance of Treasury’s 11,900 hectares of owned and leased vineyard portfolio. 

Prior to re-joining Treasury Wine Estates, Holly was Regional Manager Nth NSW with GrainCorp and has had significant sales and business development experience in many areas of the Australian wine industry.

Founded in 2015, Duxton Vineyards is one of Australia’s largest vineyard landholders. The business owns and operates over 2,400 hectares of vineyards as well as a large-scale winery, supplying over 25 different varietals on vine in Mildura, Victoria, and the Sunraysia region of New South Wales. Production is sold to domestic and global large-scale wine business as bulk and bottled wine, as well as bottled into the company’s own branded products.
