An enduring partnership sealed with a handshake
A gentlemen’s agreement sealed with a handshake made Bollinger Bond's Official Champagne. Since then the brand has featured in no less than 15 Bond films.
We all know our favourite British spy loves a good drink. The shaken not stirred vodka martini is synonymous with 007 aka Agent James Bond, but his preference for bubbles is always Champagne.
The Master is back
Wolf Blass will release The Master for the second time since 2014. First released to coincide with his 80th birthday, The Master is a homage to Wolf Blass Founder, Wolfgang Blass AM, renowned for his talent as the Master Blender and pursuit of perfection in everything to do with winemaking.
For the 2020 release, the finest parcels from different varieties and vineyard blocks of the 2018 harvest have been selected to create a one of a kind Cabernet Shiraz blend.
“From a single vineyard on an amazing patch of ancient soil, and as unique as the man himself, this is a wine to be shared in celebration of life’s momentous occasions,” said Chief Winemaker, Chris Hatcher.
Twentieth vintage for Tasmanian favourite
Tasmanian Winery Bay of Fires has unveiled its 20th vintage collection, including the 2019 Pinot Noir and 2019 Chardonnay, alongside the 2020 range of aromatic wines – Riesling, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc.
The wines are defined by their characteristic fruit intensity, refinement and persistence of flavour, a happy result of the cool Tasmanian climate.
New Fat’n Skinny wines released
Two new Fat’n Skinny wines have been released – the 2019 FAT‘n SKINNY ‘Forgotten’ Rosé and 2019 FAT‘n SKINNY Pinot Grigio.
The new wines continue the FAT‘n SKINNY winemaking philosophy of making approachable wines which are light-hearted, full-flavoured and offer consumers an introduction to McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Peninsula.
“Our FAT‘n SKINNY ‘Forgotten’ Rosé is a blend of our estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Garnacha,” said winemaker James Hastwell.
