Fever-Tree's new Aromatic Tonic Water adds a splash of pink to the classic gin and tonic this summer.
The launch of Fever-Tree’s Aromatic Tonic Water has already exceeded expectations in the UK after launching in April 2016, continuing to outsell the number one seller Indian Tonic outside of summer. The Australian launch comes at a prime time, with pink drinks set to trend this summer.
Fever-Tree Asia Pacific Brand Director Andy Gaunt is excited about the launch of the new Tonic as it’s an opportunity to further grow the brand and engage new customers.
Given the rise of Rosé and Frosé in Australia, and in part due to the photographic potential via social platforms, the new mixer allows us to feed into a younger demographic and broaden our audience,” said Gaunt.
Fever-Tree founders Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow researched early references of Tonics and have sourced the globe, in true Fever-Tree form, to finesse the Aromatic recipe, which includes a gentle bitterness of Angostura bark from South America, balanced by the sweet, spicy flavours of various ingredients including vanilla from Madagascar, ginger from Cochin and cardamom from Guatemala.
The pink drink, which completes a range of 13 all-natural mixer and tonics to pair with premium spirits, will be launched this month in style.
“We are coinciding the launch with on premise activity on Rooftop and outdoor venues nationwide over Summer,” says Fever-Tree Brand Manager Bruce Priddy. Some famous venues include Sydney’s Zephyr Bar, Naked for Satan in Melbourne and Perth’s Sweetwater Rooftop.
Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic Water will be available to the trade from November 6 at a RRP of $7.99.
Fever-Tree has taken out the Drinks International Annual Bar Report Top Trending and Best Selling Tonic Water for the past three years (2017, 2016 and 2015), and has also taken out the Australian Liquor Industry Awards Best Mixer award for the past four years.
